The experience I had at Genesis Dental of Orem was outstanding. Upon arrival, I was promptly guided to my seat in the back and the work began almost immediately. The dental hygienist did a great job of cleaning my teeth while also providing some helpful tips on how to improve my overall oral hygiene. The dentist was kind and understanding, but also very knowledgable and honest. He provided me with useful information on what work my teeth might need while not pressuring me to get it done immediately. He certainly made it feel like a true health consultation, not just a routine visit. I left my visit feeling that I had been treated as a patient they actually care about, not just another paying customer. I highly recommend Genesis Dental and will be returning regularly. ~ Treigh P

I started going to Genesis Dental long before it became Genesis Dental when it was Dr. Garry Brown’s practice. There was a period of time, after Dr. Brown’s passing, that it was a rotating group of dentists that worked there. I did not care for this and was just about to change. I’m glad I didn’t because Dr. Pete is now the permanent dentist here and I like him a lot. He is very professional, amicable and he uses the most current technology. I feel that he is also conservative in his approach to dentistry. Instead of telling you each time that you HAVE to get the dental work done RIGHT NOW, he’ll sometimes say, Let’s keep our eye on it. The staff at Genesis Dental is professional and friendly. I’m not one to typically write reviews but feel comfortable recommending Genesis Dental. ~ Stacey T

Well,,, I must say. Vicki what a sweet heart you are!!! Reviews seem to be the thing these days. Often, an employee gets a great review and doesn't even know about it or what is being said in that review. When people walk away from that company and they are feeling good about the initial interaction with a staff member, nothing is better!!! Vicki, you sure fit the part... Well, HELLO BOSS, you've sure got a good one there !!! Vicki was very personable. With these new Medicaid benefits, you could hear the excitement in her voice. When making my consultation appointment with her I did not feel rushed or unappreciated. Actually just the opposite. Thank you for the soft approach Vicki. Help is out there, Amen ~ Angela M

My first experience with Genesis Dental Orem was today for a cleaning & exam. I was greeted cheerfully by Sheryl. Even though I had arrived early and expected to wait I was surprised when Hannah called me in early for my teeth cleaning. She used a new high pressure “water pick” devise that I had never seen my prior hygienists use. I feel the resulting cleaning was as good as any I had experienced. After Monica took my X-rays Dr Peet gave me a very through exam and discussed options for treating the couple of symptoms I have been experiencing. I left the dental office quite impressed and feel I have found a dentist that I plan to stay with. Thank you to all the team for a very pleasant experience! ~ william h

Hannah was a very thorough dental hygienist. She did a great job cleaning every individual tooth while being very gentle, very attentive to when I needed my spit suctioned, and great at communicating the next step before she did something. Dr. Peet was very efficient and great at communicating and explaining about my cavities and very considerate about me being on my back while 36 weeks pregnant and taking my circumstances into consideration when discussing upcoming appointments. The receptionists were very friendly, did a great job communicating and were very accommodating with my schedule and needs. Overall this is definitely the best dental facility I've been to in my life and I'll be sticking with them. ~ Brittany C

We are sad at the passing of Dr. Brown, but he left us in good care. As always, Genesis is responsive to any sudden problems that arise, such as when a tooth waiting for a crown needs a root canal. We have never had to wait for any emergency appointment and my husband loves that he can come in at 7 a.m. and have his teeth cleaned before work, saving him lost productivity. The receptionists are patient and kind which I'm sure is not easy after dealing with people day after day, but I appreciate their good natures. The hygienists I have had for the last year have been consistent, work fast while still being thorough and are very friendly. They have the latest in cleaning equipment, so no scraping needed! All in all we have had overwhelmingly positive experiences through the years as was my latest visit yesterday. ~ Phyllis H

They got me in for a New Patient exam within a week! And they were great at communication, explaining insurance, and scheduling my future visits. Mary was the tech (is that what it's called?) that cleaned my teeth, and did the majority of my visit. She was awesome! Very personable and explained a TON of helpful things about brushing, habits, why parts of my mouth hurt, and recommended great toothbrushes and tooth pastes. Thank you MARY! The front desk receptionist was very knowledgeable about insurance and really helped break down pricing, options, insurance coverage and fees, and plan my next visits (lots of work on my teeth unfortunately). As part of my treatment, I had to get a tooth extracted; I thought I was going to be in a lot of pain afterwards once the anesthesia wore off, however, I was just a bit sore and felt very good . Dr. Peet is awesome and really did an excellent job with this! His assistant Longo is really great and helpful too! When talking to the front desk, Brooke explained my treatment plan in a way that I was able to understand what is being done. She was very patient and helpful. Also, thanks to Brenda who also assists Dr. Peet. This is a great dental office that I highly recommend, staff is very nice and the prices very reasonable. I've been going to Genesis Dental for several years now. I had a new hygienist this last visit a few days ago and she was wonderful. She was very friendly and caused me no pain whatsoever. She encouraged me in the things I was doing to care for my teeth. She was quick and efficient. It was also my first visit with Dr. Davidson. He is kind and friendly also. He looked at my x-rays quite thoroughly and then did a complete oral exam including a oral cancer screen. The office staff is also friendly and efficient; I wasn't even sitting down for 30 seconds before I was called back from the waiting room. This is Olivia, Lopeti’s wife. I highly recommend Genesis Dental of Orem. The front desk secretaries have great customer service skills. The office manager is very clear when explaining financing options which they are very willing to help figure out a plan that works for you and not just one third-party financing option like most Dental offices. Their prices way cheaper than our previous dentist and for the same amount of work. Dr. Wilson is the best of the best. Makes you feel very comfortable & informative with the work he’s doing. His dental assistant was so helpful with what I wanted done first with my treatment plan & made sure I knew the options I could take before they did any work on my teeth. I had work done just yesterday and I didn’t even know they were done, it was done so fast & painless. I’m so glad I found this Dental Office! ~ Olivia K

I had to have a implant for a tooth that went bad. Dr Wilson did an incredible job performing that procedure for me. I was having lots of trouble with the tooth that had to be preplaced. Now everything is fine. I appreciate Dr Wilson’s professionalism and care as well as his staff. I also have a problem with my gums receding and they are also very sensitive. Because of this I have to have teeth cleaned four times a year. Jenny the dental hygienist their has done an a very good job in being gentle and thorough with my cleaning which I have also appreciated. So I always get anxiety coming into the dentist, but they were very nice the front office and the assistant. you need to come here they’re are outstanding, friendly Carrying and reassuring me it’s going to be ok , Dentist freak me out. By far this is the best office I have ever been to. The other dentist I went to there office was awful. Genesis is by far the best dentist in Orem. The staff is very warm and friendly and care for their patients. The employees that really stood out ant my fist was Gabriella Monica and Sheryl Come join the patient team at Genesis ,they rock. My sister was looking for dental place , our niece is a very nice person so, she got adds on mail with the specials for dental treatments. She went and did first read the reviews and our niece just buy or get somethings that she first read through all reviews to make sure it’s legitimate.So she did set an appointment for my sisterMJ that, has bed experiences in the past with dental doctors Well, MJ was so comfortable with them not just with the ladies that works there but , with Doctor Peet he was so concerned about what’s the best way to get my sister comfortable that now she’s one of the most advertising person for the office 😂😂.l am one of the Genesis dental office’s new patient, after coming and seeing the way they treat my sister . Genesis Dental is WONDERFUL!! We had just moved to Provo and I have a special needs son that I was worried about his teeth. I called everyone to find someone who could get him in. Everyone was booked for 2 weeks out. Then I called Genesis and they made an apt for him the next day!! HAPPY & RELIEVED MOM!! Their staff, Maleah is GREAT!! We lived in El Paso, Texas for awhile and my daughter started having problems with the way her teeth were growing in. The dentist in El Paso wanted to pull her adult teeth out that she was having the problem with, but the Ortho through GENESIS took a look and said they could make space for those teeth and wouldn't need to pull any out! HAPPY MOM!! We had another incident when my daughter was playing with her cousin and chipped her tooth, and the Ortho fixed it. HAPPY MOM!! I HIGH recommended GENESIS!! My husband and I recently visited Genesis Dental of Orem. We have always been thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service and expertise they provide their. We travel from California to have our dental work done there specifically. Dr. Pete, Sheryl, Monica, Anais, Longo and Hanna are all friendly and good at what they do. We were dealing with a short time frame, and needed to have a lot of work accomplished in the time we were in Utah. I had the best experience at Genesis Dental with Dr Smith. In the past I have had severe anxiety about visiting the dentist. Shayna referred me to Dr Smith. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. Meleah and Alex the dental assistants were so easy going and patient with me. I have a horrible gag reflex and dread having X-rays done. Hannah the Hygienist cleaned my teeth quickly and easily. I had quite a bit of work done and I was at ease and relaxed during the procedures. I was very nervous about going to the dentist, after having 3 kids and only going to the dentist once, I wanted to make sure I chosed a office with good reviews and that I thought would make me feel comfortable, and not go through a bad experience, and I think Genesis dental and Dr. Peet did not disappoint from my first visit with Sarah to my procedure to all my fallow up since than they have been amazing and very attentive. I just wanted to say how great it was to speak with Vicky when she answered my call she went above and beyond in every way she took the time and consideration to not only make me feel like she actually cared but I felt like she cared she was great and more ways than one to speak with on the phone and I would definitely call back and specifically asked to Vicky because of not only her phone etiquette but it was nice to talk to somebody that wasn't so just read what's on the screen and that's all they can help me with then nothing more she was just the opposite of that ~ Kyle R

I like this dentist. Dr Peet has good vibes. My first visit he took time to scrape a little extra plaque, said “to me, a healthy tooth is a beautiful tooth”, and polite to staff. I’ve gone 4x since. Dr. Peet is the only dentist in Utah I’ve seen show a professional relationship to hygienists. You know what I mean. I had some tooth sensitivity and I respected that he said “I can’t justify doing any work on the teeth if they are healthy.”. If you are looking for a measured approach and emphasis on prevention, and an appropriate manner with patients and staff, I would recommend Dr Peet. Hannah is my hygienist I see each time and I love how seriously she takes her job and each time I see her, I can tell she takes time to learn more about dental health. I’d love to see her become a dentist too! We need more female dentists in Utah. She also took time to add extra notes on my file when I said I wanted to keep track of something specific the next visit. Very professional. ~ Marlyse E

I can’t say enough on how much I love this office from the girls that answer the phone Makayla and Veronica and Alayna at the front desk and their assistance in the back . I wish I knew their names because they’re always all so sweet to Dr. Pete who is just the best and goes over and beyond to make sure that you’re satisfied and comfortable he truly loves his work and his patience .
